Cadence author applies metamorphic testing to a SystemVerilog RNM receiver model
A Cadence DVCon U.S. 2026 paper applies metamorphic testing to a SystemVerilog real-number model of a receiver baseband, ADC, and automatic-gain-control system where a detailed test oracle is impractical. It defines relations for doubled or halved input, constant ADC magnitude, and plus-or-minus 6 dB RSSI changes and exercises them with randomized stimuli. This is a reported case study, not an AI method or a company-wide deployment claim.
