Accellera forms the UVM-AMS Working Group to standardize mixed-signal UVM extensions
Accellera formed the UVM-AMS Working Group on November 19, 2019 after a proposed-working-group phase that began with a May 2019 meeting in Munich, naming Patrick Lynch as chair. The charter targeted a unified UVM-based analog/mixed-signal verification methodology, including standardized driving and monitoring of mixed-signal nets, stimulus, scoreboarding and analysis, plus a framework for reusable analog/mixed-signal verification components derived from digital-centric verification IP. Accellera said the planned standard was intended to support ready-to-use analog/mixed-signal verification IP from tool and IP providers.
