Samsung reports IP-XACT-driven PSS model generation for shift-left SoC verification
A Samsung Electronics DVCon paper described generating a PSS modeling database from IP-XACT hierarchy, interface, signal-behavior and connectivity information to automate scenario and checker generation. In the presented example, the number of identified functional-coverage bins increased from 1,193 to 1,558 (+30.5%), including cross-function bins from 38 to 203; the paper also states that PSS mainstream adoption remains limited while many organizations remain UVM-centered.
